I keep getting the error message "You have entered an invalid username or password. Please try again." when I try to sign in. What should I do?
To retrieve your username or reset your password, click “Login Help”. You will be asked to enter your email address. Then, you will receive two emails from firstname.lastname@example.org. The first email will contain your username, and the second email will contain a link to reset your password.
Why won't my video course play?
Please ensure your browser and operation systems are up to date and meet our recommended requirements here.If you continue to experience difficulty launching a video in your course, we recommend trying an alternate browser. How do I find a course?
Click on the Course Catalog tab in the top navigation menu. From the Course Catalog page, you can select resources for patients, clinicians or researchers by clicking the "Explore" buttons. You can also browse for online courses by cancer type. You can search for courses by keywords or topics in the search bar in the top right corner of the page, or on the left-hand side of the page. The search results can be filtered by categories, so you can find a course that fits your individual needs.
Once you find a course you would like to take, click on the "more info" button along the right hand side. You will be prompted to log into your free SITC connectED account. Once logged in, complete the registration form. The course will be added to “My Courses” found along the left hand navigation bar.
Most activities can be completed in about 30 minutes or less. Once you reach the end of a section in a course, your progress is automatically saved. The next time you return to SITC connectED and log in, you can find course you have started by clicking on “My Courses” on the left hand navigation menu.
Click "My Credit" on the lefthand navigation menu. Under Pending Credit, select the "Request Credit" button to the right of the course name. Each course will have different requirements for claiming continuing education credits. For most courses, you will be asked to complete a post-test and evaluation to claim credit.
After completing the requirements to claim credit for a course, access your certificates by clicking "My Credi" on the left-hand navigation menu. Under Submitted Credit, click on a certificate to view it.
The “Request Credit” button does not appear under Pending Credit on the My Credit page, what should I do?
Please ensure you have completed every chapter within a course and that you have viewed every slide within the course content. Then return to the My Credit page to click the “Request Credit” button.
