Registering for Courses Questions


How can I obtain a copy of my invoice?

An invoice is emailed to you after you register. If you did not receive it or would like another copy of your invoice, please email the SITC online education team: connceted@sitcancer.org 

What are my options for making a payment?

We are currently accepting these forms of payment:

  • Credit card
  • Wire transfer
  • Invoice for processing through your institution
  • Check by mail

How do I find a course? 


Click on the SITC Online Learning Center tab in the top navigation menu. From the Course Catalog page, you can select resources for patients, clinicians or researchers by clicking the "Explore" buttons. You can also browse for online courses by cancer type. 

You can search for courses by keywords or topics in the search icon in the top right corner of the page, or on the left-hand side of the page. The search results can be filtered by categories, so you can find a course that fits your individual needs.


How do I register for a course?
 

Once you find a course you would like to take, click on the "more info" button along the right hand side. You will be prompted to log into your free SITC account. Once logged in, complete the registration form. The course will be added to "My Courses" found along the left-hand navigation bar.


Continuing Education Credits Questions


I should have a Continuing Education certificate but it’s not available.

To receive your Continuing Education certificate, you must add a Credit Reporting Organization (CRO) to your account. To do this, navigate to “My Account” in the left-hand menu, then under “Account Preferences”, select “Add or Edit My Credit Reporting Organizations”. Make sure to enter your ID number if applicable. Once your CRO is added, your Continuing Education certificate will be generated. 

My certificate is set to expire soon. What is the renewal process?

The renewal process is currently being developed. SITC will share additional details as soon as it is finalized, and your certificate will not expire in the meantime. We’ll be in touch directly with all certificate holders once the renewal process is in place.


How do I obtain Continuing Education Credits? 

Click "My Credit" on the left-hand navigation menu. Under Pending Credit, select the "Request Credit" button to the right of the course name. Each course will have different requirements for claiming continuing education credits. For most courses, you will be asked to complete a post-test and evaluation to claim credit.


How do I access my continuing education certificates? 

After completing the requirements to claim credit for a course, access your certificates by clicking "My Credit" on the left-hand navigation menu. Under "Submitted Credit", click on a certificate to view it.



Course Materials Questions


Can I pause a course and return to it later? 

Once you reach the end of a section in a course, your progress is automatically saved. The next time you return to SITC and log in, you can find course you have started by clicking on "My Courses" on the left-hand navigation menu.

I'd like to continue my course, but it's expired.

Technical Questions


I keep getting the error message "You have entered an invalid username or password. Please try again." when I try to sign in. What should I do?

To retrieve your username or reset your password, click "Login Help". You will be asked to enter your email address. Then, you will receive two emails from info@sitcancer.org. The first email will contain your username, and the second email will contain a link to reset your password.


The website is not displaying properly. What should I do? 

We're always making updates to our website. Clearing your cache can ensure that the website is up to date. Select the browser you are using from the list below for instructions on how to clear your cache:



Why won't my video course play? 

Please ensure your browser and operation systems are up to date and meet our recommended requirements here. If you continue to experience difficulty launching a video in your course, we recommend trying an alternate browser. If this does not remedy your issue, please contact our vendor's technical support team at 866-702-3278 or freestonelearnersupport@momentivesoftware.com


I'm getting an error message "ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS?". What should I do?

Clearing your cache should fix this problem. See the links above for instructions on how to clear the cache on different browsers.
