The SITC Cancer Immunotherapy Guidelines Webinars connect clinicians with leading experts in the field and provide education about the evidence- and consensus-based recommendations in the clinical practice guidelines. To complement the advanced live webinar series, three on-demand, mini modules will assist learners in applying lessons learned on specific topics within the use of immunotherapy in their own practices and locate additional resources to continue their education.   

 

Anthony B. El-Khoueiry, MD - USC Norris Cancer Hospital, presents a case on immunotherapy of HCC in a patiaent with alcoholic liver cirrhosis.  Dr. El-Khoueiry then presents data from the GIDEON study and the CheckMate 040 clinical trial to discuss the relationship between liver function and patient outcomes during HCC treatment.  The Q&A session concluding this module includes discussions of using immunotherapy in combination with other local-regional therapies to treat HCC, treating HCC in special paient populations, and the changing landscape of immunotherapy and HCC.
